Diane Faith Snyder born March 7, 1945 and passed away at the age of 74 on January, 29, 2020 at 9:30am in her home in Woodward, OK.
Diane was born to Fred M. Childers and Garnett (Warren) Childers Hooks on March 7, 1945 in Lindsay, CA where she spent her childhood with siblings, Woody, Sharon, Joe, & Judy. Diane married Everett J Snyder on November 3, 1961 in Porterville, CA where they started their family and had three sons together. Diane was a beautiful soul, a loving sister, wife, mother, aunt, and nana to many. She was a free spirit, and adventurer, traveling every chance she got. Diane loved to care for her family and no one ever went hungry as she loved to cook. She also had a beautiful voice and loved to sign hymns in and out of church.
Diane was preceded in death by her Father Fred Childers, Mother Garnett Warren-Childers-Hooks, and siblings Joe Childers (Beverly) and Judy Childers Cliffton.
Diane is survived by husband Everett J. Snyder of the home. Siblings: Woody Childers (Carylon) of Porterville, CA and Sharon Hicks (Jack) of Canton, OK. Sons: Ronald L Snyder and his wife Angela Ake - Snyder of the home, Randy J Snyder (Leslie) of Olive, OK, and Jeffery W Snyder (Denise) of Cookson, OK. Grand-children: Nicholas L. Snyder (Linsay), Christian R. Snyder-Wait (Jared), Savanna Seal, Sierra Robertson, Katelynn Fielding, Kaylee Snyder, Gabe Snyder, and Ally Snyder and 12 great grand-children.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s honor may be made to the family (203153 E. County Rd. 35, Woodward, OK 73801) to help defray expenses.
