Robert Snodgrass

Robert Snodgrass
June 15, 1931 ~ December 14, 2024

Robert Snodgrass, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 14, 2024, at his home in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Born on June 15, 1931 in Enid, Ok., to the late Herbert Snodgrass and Lydia (Ott) Snodgrass.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Snodress, and two sisters, Francis and Nadine.

Robert had a spirit of adventure, Robert dedicated his life to family, service, and an array of hobbies that reflected his vibrant personality.

He is survived by his cherished daughter, Lorna (Keith) Moon, who brought him immense pride and joy, along with his grandchildren, Dr. James Marion (Hanna) Pittman, and Jessie Lee Pittman. Robert also leaves behind his furry companion, Donald, who provided him with unwavering love and companionship throughout the years.

Robert was not only a devoted family man but also a proud veteran who served honorably in the United States Air Force. His commitment to service continued during his long and fulfilling career at the VA office in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he touched the lives of many.

An avid outdoorsman, Robert found peace and happiness in his connection to nature. He spent countless hours gardening and reading, nurturing his mind and surroundings. He embraced the thrill of riding motorcycles and had a deep passion for woodworking, crafting beautiful pieces that echoed his creativity and skill. His love for horses marked him as a true equestrian at heart, embodying the spirit of freedom and adventure that he cherished.

As we remember Robert Snodgrass, we celebrate a life well-lived-a life marked by love, adventure, and service. He will be profoundly missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
