Willmina Mangum Smith

Oct. 14, 1921 ~ Sept. 16, 2003

Services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane, Saturday, September 20, 2003, at 10:30 a.m., for Willmina Mangum Smith, 81, who passed away September 16, 2003, in Bakersfield.

Willmina was born in Oklahoma and moved to California in 1940.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James: her mother, Lottie Pierce in February 2003: her sister, Thelma Welch and brothers, James Barnett, Thelbert Pierce and Mark Pierce. Willmina is survived by her sister, Mae Creek; brothers, George and Calvin Pierce; her four children, Sharon Williams, Sam Mangum, Shirley Tiffee and Diana Ragsdale; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Friday, September 19, at 2:00 p.m.
