Tommy was born December 21, 1949 in Alameda, California to Reba Parker Smith.
He married Kay on March 25, 1997.
Because Tommy's mother, Reba Parker Smith, died when he was only 2 years old, he was raised by Elsie Muchmore and the late Carlos Muchmore.
Tommy was a truck driver for Waggoneers Trucking Co. for the last 14 years. He leaves behind a great number of close friends and family who he loved very much and who loved him.
Survivors include his wife Kay and daughters Ashli and Paige of their home in Odessa, TX, his sister Beverly Sanders of Chickasha, OK, his "Mom" Elsie Muchmore of Duncan, OK, a niece Carolyn Cowan and two great nieces Nicci Cowan and her son Braiden, and Krissi Cowan and her daughter Cadence, as well as the two cousins he was raised with, Carlos "Jim" Muchmore of OKC, OK, and Dennis Muchmore of Houston, TX and their families.
When Tommy met Kay, her older children Sean Metz, Tracy Cole, and Misty Metz soon took a special place in his heart just as if they were his own. They also had 14 grandchildren who will surely miss their "Papa."
Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas where he will be buried on April 4, 2009.
Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Reba Parker Smith, "Dad" Carlos Muchmore, Grandpa John Parker, and Grandma Eva Parker.
