Memorial services for Terry Lynn Smith, 60, of Sanger, Texas were held at the Elks Lodge at Lake Ray Roberts on Friday, May 22.
Born November 20, 1954 in Gainesville, Texas, the son of Steve and Addie Smith, he died Monday, May 18, 2015 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, Texas.
Terry grew up in Arlington, Texas but moved to Thackerville his senior year where he lived with his grandmother, Nellie Wade. He graduated from Thackerville High School with the class of 1973.
He later returned to Arlington where he stared his family. For the last 18 years he had called Sanger his home. Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Smith, in 1980.
Survivors include daughter, Samantha Smith of Sanger; son Michael Magness and daughter-in-law, Lucia of Desoto, Texas; mother, Addie Smith Pryor of Arlington; brother, Steve Smith of Thackerville and brother John Smith and sister-in-law, Sharen of Brownsboro, Texas; sister, Laquitta Williams of Arlington; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and treasured friends.
