Ronnie Manford Smith
Friday November 21, 1952 ~ Thursday April 23, 2026

Ronnie "Ron" Smith passed away on April 23, 2026, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Ron was born on November 21, 1952, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to Frank Smith and Betty Allen (Duvall). He lived in Oklahoma until he was eight years old, when he moved with his mother and siblings to Arizona, where he later graduated from Casa Grande High School. Throughout his life, Ronnie worked in construction and also served as a caregiver-roles that reflected both his strong work ethic and his caring nature. He loved his family deeply, especially his daughters. In 2005, he moved back to Oklahoma, where he lived for the remainder of his life.

Ron proudly served his country as a Seabee in the United States Navy for 8 years. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting eagles and crosses. He had a deep appreciation for music, as well as a strong love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and cross-country trips with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Smith and Betty Duvall; Jim Duvall; and his sisters, Theda Duvall and Melvina Duvall.

Ron is survived by his loving spouse, Juanita Smith; his daughters, Autumn Murray, Crystal (Joe) Gallimore, and Ashley Murrietta; and his stepchildren, Stefani (Chance) Brentlinger and Michael Brown (Heba Brown). He is also survived by other family members Gary Smith, Tom Duvall, Anna Sams, and Norma Bowen.

Ron was a proud grandfather to 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy.

Ron will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love for his family, and the simple things that brought him happiness.
