Services for Roger Harold Smith, 68, of Skiatook, formerly of the Allen area are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Wayne Cooksey officiating.
Mr. Smith passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 at a Tulsa hospital. He was born March 12, 1947 in Allen to Wylie Paul and Dora Leona Crisenberry Smith. He attended school in California.
He married Coretha Violet Victory April 15, 1996 in Fayetteville, AR. Mr. Smith was a self-employed dump truck driver and had served in the U. S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Coretha, of the home; his mother, Dora Wilson of Ada; two sons, Nathan Smith and wife Melinda, Shawnee and David Smith, Claremore; three step-children, Chad Falling and wife Jamie, Salina, OK, Wendi Nichols and husband Gary, and Matthew Falling, all of Skiatook; two sisters, Benita and Wayne Cooksey, Ada and Julie and Don Knighten, Allen; his grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Tyler Smith, Baily Nichols, Hunter Nichols, Blayden Nichols, Cadence Falling, LouAnn Dawson, Tressa Dawson, Kirstin Bark; one great-granddaughter, Alana Bark; nieces, Rebecca Allen and husband Tim, Sulphur and Mary Taylor and husband Joe, Allen; nephews, Gary Knighten and wife Daniella, Piedmont and LeRoy Cooksey and wife Melissa, Ada; his step-brothers and sisters, John, Steve, Ruth, Elaine, Brenda and Sandra.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wylie Paul Smith; his step-fathers, LeRoy Keylon and Horace Lee Wilson; and two brothers, David and Lonnie.
