Linda Kay (Rohl) Smith, 73, of Yukon, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Lexington, Oklahoma. The daughter of Purl Edgar and Mary Esther (Franklin) Rohl, she was born September 25, 1940 in Geary, Oklahoma.
She worked for Baptist Hospital for 20 years as an EEG Technician. Linda was Methodist in faith. She enjoyed watching Thunder Basketball, oil painting, gardening and being outdoors. Linda was a good cook and enjoyed trying new recipes.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Esther Day; her father, Ed Rohl; and her stepfather, Harvey Day.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Lora Lasater, and her husband, Geary, of Norman; her son, Mark Smith and his wife, Jody, of Prague; her five grandchildren, Kenzie Martin, Tyler Creek, Jacob Smith, Nathan Smith, and Ellyana Smith; her two great grandchildren, Wyatt Martin and Maverick Martin; her sisters, Nancy Preskitt of California, Debbie Sawatzky and her husband, Kent, of Broken Arrow, and Leslie Sowards and her husband, Steve, of California; her brother, Steve Rohl and his wife, Stephanie, of Washington; and many other loved ones and friends.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
