On November 5, 1949 in Denver Colorado, Andrew and Edna Kerr, gave birth to their 6th daughter, Janet Raye.
She graduated from North High School in Denver in 1967. She had two daughters, Megan and Amanda. She always loved being part of a big family and looked forward to birthdays and holidays where all the sisters got together with their families. As the youngest sister she wasn’t too much older than many of her nieces and nephews and they all looked forward to seeing her as she was the “cool” aunt.
She moved to Oklahoma in 2001 to be nearer to her daughters. That was where she met the love of her life Jackie Smith and they were married in 2009.
Janet was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sisters Gladys, Dolores, Nancy and Andrea, and her granddaughter Callie. She is survived by her daughters Megan Tindall and Amanda Boyles, 5 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
