Georgia R. Smith

August 26, 1944 ~ March 11, 2007

Georgia R. Smith passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2007 in the Cushing Regional Hospital at the age of 62 years, following a long battle of cancer.

The daughter of the late Raymond Smith and Gladys Donaldson Waters, Georgia was born on August 26, 1944 in Sapulpa, OK and was reared and educated in the Sapulpa and Kellyville areas.

She was united in marriage to Lewis Franklin, William Dalton Harris, Jeff Brown and LeRoy Bilyeu.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving include her children, Ruth Harris Lawson of West Plains, MO, Georgia Louise Franklin and Bertha Knott Bilyeu both of Cushing and Eugene Harris of Sikeston, MO; her brothers and sisters, Francis Kibe, JoAnn Young, Nellie Matthew, George Smith, Ralph Graves, Bobby Graves, Donald Franklin Donaldson and Tony Eugene Donaldson; her grandchildren, Cheryl Bilyeu, Lewis Bilyeu, Adam Lawson, Eric Lawson and Jacob Harris; one great-grand-daughter, Angela Bilyeu; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Harris Slavens; three grandchildren, Jody May, Bowe and Sonny Slavens and two brothers Johnny Smith and Claude Graves.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2007 from 4-6 in the Floyd Family Center.

The family will have a private burial.
