Douglas Edward Smith
June 23, 1970 ~ March 30, 2020

Celebration of Life Service for Doug Smith, 49, will be at a later date at World Harvest Church. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Douglas was born June 23, 1970, in Enid, to Kenneth Edward and Eloise Waits Smith and died March 30, 2020, at his home in Enid.

He graduated from Chisholm High School and married Julie Bowles on August 24, 1991. Along with his parents, Doug owned and operated The Garden House. He enjoyed helping his many customers and friends with their gardens. Doug enjoyed OSU football and basketball. When time allowed, he liked to go hunting. Doug attended World Harvest Church.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; two brothers, Kenton and Montra.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; son, Dylan Smith; mother and step-father, Eloise and Dale Miller; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Bill Hane; three nephews, Aaron, Andrew, and Owen; mother-in-law, Sybil Bowles; brother-in-law, Brian Bowles; other relatives and many friends.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Julie Smith (for Dylan's education fund) or donor's choice.
