Memorial services for Curtis Kent Smith, 44, of Yukon, OK, will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, September 4, 2017 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Scotty Morris officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Curtis passed away, peacefully, on Friday August 25th in the arms of his husband, Brad Smith, and dear friend, Leia Sigler. Curtis was born on February 7th, 1973 in Oklahoma City, OK, to Douglas Kent Smith and Shirley (Chandler) Anderson.
Curtis lived in Guthrie, OK, during his childhood years, and then moved to Yukon, where he graduated in 1991. He received a business degree, but soon after, he decided being stuck behind a desk was not the job for him. Curtis had so much spirit, love, and energy, he chose to get his barber license and loved making people beautiful and fabulous. He also loved getting to know and care for everyone who sat in his seat.
Curtis married the love of his life, Brad (Johnson) Smith on August 19th, at their house that they purchased last year, surrounded by family and loved ones.
