Enos, OK- Christine Ellen (Strobel) Smith, 65, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Christine was born December 23rd, 1958 at Herkimer, New York to Harland Herbert Strobel and Claudia Joan (Luther) Strobel.
Christine grew up and attended school in Phoenix, Arizona. She met and married the love of her life, Michael Smith, on November 25th, 1988 in Phoenix. Christine attended Murray State College in Tishomingo for 2 years earning an Associate degree in Psychology before earning her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health at East Central University in Ada. She was employed as a counselor most of her life.
Christine loved being with family, traveling to different places, working on crafts with the grandkids, and driving around the lake with her best friend/husband, Michael. She also enjoyed her fur babies Tsuki, Baby, and Thor. Christine and Michael attended the Church of Hope in Enos.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Christine leaves behind her loving husband, Mike, of the Enos home; daughter/granddaughter, Jay Smith of the home; son, Cameron Smith and his wife, Courtney of Ada, OK; daughter, Heidi Monroe and her husband, Richard of Enos; daughter, Lacy Mullins and her husband, Steven of Enos; daughter, Tracy Turner and her husband, Jeff of Tishomingo; and daughter, Carrie Lowe of Emporia, KS; grandkids Jay, Harly, Camden, Kanon, Delilah, Ellie, Lillian, and Sterling; siblings Mike Strobel and wife, Betty of New River, AZ, Char Tipton and husband, Matt of Peoria, AZ, Nan Perkins and husband, Artie of Goodyear, AZ, Harly Strobel and wife, Mary of Mesa, AZ, and Bunny Sheehan and husband, Tom of Clarksville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Christine’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
