Clarissa Ann Smith

Clarissa Ann Smith
Oct. 20, 1966 ~ Sept. 11, 2024

Clarissa Ann Smith was born Oct. 20, 1966, in Pratt, Kan. She passed away Sept. 11, 2024, at the age of 57.

Clarissa is survived by her spouse, Steve Becker; brother, Gene Smith (Elaine); sister, Mary Nunn (Scott); stepson, Anthony Becker (Bridget); stepdaughter, Andrea Lynn (Ray); daughter, Miranda Carter (Derek); 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Clarissa was preceded in death by her parents, Rodger G. Smith and Rosemary Reed.

Clarissa worked many different jobs during her life, but in 2001 she got her nursing degree. She mostly worked at nursing homes and really enjoyed the interaction with her patients.

Being a nurse was her dream.

Her health made her stop working in 2013, but she kept very busy with family and friends. They were very important to her and she will be desperately missed by all those she left behind.

A memorial service for Clarissa will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at Sanders Funeral Service Chapel in Kingfisher.
