Amos Smith Jr.

Aug. 16, 1927 ~ Dec. 22, 2012

ENID, Okla. - Memorial service for Amos Smith Jr., 85, of Deer Creek, Okla., will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Blackwell.

Amos was born Aug. 16, 1927, in Proctor, Okla., to Amos and Ina (Richards) Smith Sr. and died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at his home.

He married Jennie Leah (Gribbos) Cless Nov. 22, 1966, in Deer Creek.

Surviving are wife, Jennie; daughters, Judy Morris, Patty Moore and Sally Leatherman; son, Evan Cless; sister, Betty Craig; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Preceded by three brothers and two sons.
