Gregory "Greg" Bowen Slovacek, age 61 of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away December 19.2020 at Hillcrest Hospital In Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Greg was born on March 27, 1959 In Sulphur, Louisiana to Lawrence and Joan (Steichen) Slovacek. Greg graduated from Ponca City High School.
He was an avid OSU fan, loved helping his neighbors, and was sometimes known to be lucky at the casino. Although he Had serious health problems for several years he never complained.
Survivors include his mother Joan and step father Richard Welborn of Ponca City, Sister Mindy Benedict (Kevin, nephews, Blake and Ryan Benedict (fiancé Haley) St. Augustine FL, step sisters Roxanne Waddel (Rick) Frisco, TX, Drista Rogers (Tom) Houston, TX, step brother Mark Welborn (Stephanie) Ponca City and an abundance of cousins and relatives.
Preceding in death were his father Lawrence Slovacek, grandpartents Al and Rose Steichen, Antone and Mary Slovacek, uncles Martin Steichen (Mildred), Don Steichen (Shirley), and Aunt Lorene Artman (Wayne).
