Robert Lawrence "Baby Boy" Slinker, 29 year old resident of Stilwell, died Thursday September 12, 2013 in an automobile accident near Stilwell. He was born May 24, 1984 in Oklahoma City to Charles Leon Slinker and Cordelia Nan (Thomas) Slinker.
Robert was a graduate of White Oak High School. He married Starla Duncan on May 24, 2013 in Adair County. Robert worked as a professional painter and was a native American pottery artist.
The family includes: his wife Starla of the home, two children, Blaze and Blade Slinker, step-child, Athan Duncan; siblings, Sherri Sam of Tulsa, Leon Slinker of White Oak, Lucy Livers of Stilwell, Dorena Terrapin of Tahlequah, Job Thomas of Miami, Anthony Slinker of Oklahoma City, Chuck Slinker and Larissa Slinker both of Tulsa.
He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Victoria Sina "Vicki" Sam-Bush.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Thomas Family Cemetery south of White Oak, with Eric Wensman officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
