Jane L. Slauenwhite passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at her residence in Bartlesville, Oklahoma with her daughter by her side.
Jane Louise “McCann” Slauenwhite was born December 25, 1946 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania to James “Jim” McCann and Cecelia (Riley) McCann. She spent her childhood living in Pennsylvania and Oklahoma City.
She moved to California in 1955 where she resided and had five children, received her GED and College degree in accounting. In 1991 she moved to Oklahoma and resided in Bartlesville, she worked for Subway for 4 years, Dillard’s for 5 years and Walmart in lawn and Garden for 15 years. She loved her coworkers and customers of Walmart and enjoyed seeing them. Due to health problems and being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s/Dementia she had to begin her retirement.
She was a very caring and loving individual and would help anyone with anything at any time if she could. Jane had a deep love for God, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and anyone else she came in contact with. She also loved shopping, collecting rocks and mountain climbing.
Jane is preceded in death by her Parents, James” Jim” McCann and Cecelia (Riley) McCann, one Brother, Clarence McCann, one Infant child, several Aunts, Uncles and one Nephew.
Jane is survived by one Daughter, Melissa Miller and Husband, Wayne of Bartlesville, Oklahoma: 3 sons, Erik Sandeen and Wife Heidi of Susanville, California, Daryle Sandeen of Redding, California, John Cravens and Wife, Jennifer of Redding, California, one adopted Daughter, Jessica Slape of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, one Brother, James “Pete” McCann Jr. of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, one Sister in law, Laurie McCann of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 13 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Service arrangements will be made by the Family at a later date. Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory will be doing the Cremation Service.
