Melinda Rae Davis Slate, age 67 of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020. She was born January 20, 1953 at Lackland AFB, TX. Melinda found her soul mate in husband Jerry Slate. They loved each other unconditionally and worked together as a team.
In their twenty-five years together, they built a home on Slaterosa Ranch in Lexington Oklahoma. They enjoyed spending time together while working on the farm. They enjoyed taking care of the animals, each other and their home. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden and being outdoors. Melinda retired from ONG in 2001, and then worked for Donwell Properties until her health begin to fail. Melinda was a member of the Lexington Church of Christ. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her!
