Allen Dee Sisco went to his heavenly home August 20th 2021. He had just turned 57 years of age.
Allen was born in Ponca City on August 13th, 1964, the son of Olan Sisco and Louise (White) Sisco. Growing up, he attended Ponca City Public schools, graduating from Ponca City High School.
At the age of 17, he began working at Furr’s Cafeteria and stayed there as a loyal employee for over 20 years until the business closed. Following his employment there, he went on to work for Tyson Foods/Dorada for the next several years. Over the last few years, you could find him working alongside his family at Frazier’s Restaurant.
Allen had a great love for animals and babies. He also loved music of all kinds and you could find him at Faith Tabernacle Church singing along to every song (a little off key but with a joyful heart). Above all, he treasured his family and never passed up the opportunity to spend time with them.
He was a special member of the family and will be greatly missed. He leaves behind four brothers, Mike Sisco, Howard Sisco, Gary Sisco, and Skylar Yarber; two sisters, Debra Wright and husband Jeff and Lauralee Goodman and husband Garry; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is proceeded in death by his grandparents; Jesse and Lola White, and Sam and Cynthia Sisco. Parents; Olen and Louise Sisco. One nephew; Garrett Wrangler Sisco.
The family welcomes all to a public viewing on Sunday, August 29 from noon to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 30, at Faith Tabernacle Church, 501 South Fifth, with the Revs. Don and Norene Stanton presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home.
