Scott Whitney Sirles was born on May 6, 1960 in Jacksonville, FL. He passed away on February 18, 2021 at the age of 61 years young.
He was a loving son to Herb Sirles and Gail Murdough, caring father to Delta Sirles and Louis Valadez, and devoted husband to Kim Lawley and stepfather to Mark Lawley.
As a loving son, Scott will be missed beyond words. As you enter your new adventure, remember the good and fun times that we had together, from the Daytona 500 to the golf courses in NC, and look forward to the ones we will have in the future. Scott’s love of fishing began very early in his life, around 8 or 9 years of age. He would wake at the break of dawn and ride his bike down to Owls Brook to fish. Very often he brought some brookies home for his breakfast or lunch. He continued to fish all his life, always sharing his catch. He leaves an empty spot in many lives; he is sorely missed.
Until we see you again, we love you, and God Bless.
As a caring father, he was a great friend, a kind hearted soul, remarkable fisherman, world-class sportsman, world traveler, and successful businessman. He loved unconditionally and was always there to support us no matter what. We are proud to have been your children. He was our Dad!
As a devoted husband, you will be missed very much and will be loved forever. Many memories were made while traveling and throughout our many years together. As a stepfather, you were a model citizen who built a business spanning many states and, more importantly, had a zest for life that superseded all else in the form of adventure. Always up for a brainy conversation, road trip, or boat outing into the waters of some fish-laden part of the world, you will be missed terribly.
For all of us, you are in our hearts indefinitely and will never be forgotten.
The family will be having a private memorial at a later date.
