Genaro Efren Singleterry, Sr., son of Ismael and Guadalupe (Flores) Singleterry, Sr., was born on September 7, 1956 in San Juan, Texas and departed this life on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 61 years of age.
Genaro served his country proudly as a member of the U.S. Army. He was a helicopter chief mechanic. Genaro loved drag racing. He collected knives and swords. Genaro was a big family man and loved spending time with his 19 grandkids and family. He looked forward to family gatherings. He also loved wrestling with the grandkids. Genaro sold cars and worked at Poor Man's Auto in Siloam Springs, Ark. He was very good at working on electronics.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ismael and Guadalupe Singleterry, brothers: Ismael Singleterry, Jr., Jorge Singleterry and Ida Singleterry.
Genaro is survived by a loving and devoted family that includes his wife: Kathy Singleterry, children: Efren Singleterry, Jr., and wife Angie of Westville, Carlita Flores and husband Jimmy of Siloam Springs, Ark., Candice Potter and husband Chris of Kansas, Okla., Bronson Singleterry and wife Lauren of Gentry, Ark., Cecil Brock of Fayetteville, Ark., 19 grandchildren, siblings: Reynaldo Singleterry of Westville, Melinda Sutfin of Ft. Smith, Ark., Marivel Perez, Lupe Singleterry and wife Jody and Christopher Singleterry, all of Westville, sisters-in-law: Beverly Singleterry and Ruthie Singleterry. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, with Kevin Boldra officiating. Arrangements by Roberts & Hart Funeral Home
