Joshua Blake Sims was born November 6, 1984 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Betty Estelle and Donnie Ray Sims. He passed away December 2, 2015 at Carter, Oklahoma at the age of 31 years and 26 days.
Joshua grew up in Sayre and Noble, Oklahoma. He attended Western Oklahoma Vo-Tech where he obtained his Diesel Mechanic certification in 2012. He became a Diesel Mechanic and worked for Don Kirtly. He earned many certificates and awards as a diesel mechanic. Joshua enjoyed fixing engines and loving his family. He was a member of Trinity Fellowship.
He was preceded in death by grandparents and great grandparents, Nelma Colene Sims, Betty Webb, great Mercede Sims Willie Benjamin Sims, Harry and Alta Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Toni, Sayre, OK; 2 daughters, Kylee Jean and Adalynn Nicole, both of Sayre, OK; 2 sons, Christian and Austin, Coalgate, OK; parents, Donnie and Estelle Sims, Carter, OK; 2 brothers, Jason O'Neal Sims and wife, Ann, Sayre, OK and Adam Sims, Carter, OK; grandparents, Ronnie and Kay Sims, Sayre, OK and Richard Webb, Sayre, OK; nephew, Skyler O'Neal Sims; niece, Rylie Sims and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services, Monday, December 14th at 2:00 PM at Trinity Fellowship.
