Bobbie Jean Simpson was born July 10, 1933 in Carter, Oklahoma to Thelma Molly (Tatum) and Cecil Grant Simpson. She passed away June 5, 2018 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 26 days.
Bobbie grew up and attended school in Carter, Oklahoma. After leaving school she moved to Perryton and Canadian, Texas. Bobbie was a business owner and operated her own beautician shop, restaurant and truck stop. In 2007 Bobbie moved to Elk City where she spent her retirement. Bobbie was an avid dancer, loved fishing, playing slot machines and cooking for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, Robert Hall and Dale Ray Simpson, great great grandson, Brendon Tyler Brown, 2 sisters, Coreana Neel and Ernestine Parks and 1 brother, G.C. Simpson.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Brenda Brown, Amarillo, TX and Robi Simpson and wife, Amanda Williams, Elk City, OK; 4 grandchildren, Trina Brown, Amarillo, TX, Caryn Russell and husband, Cam, Amarillo, TX, Chad Hall and wife, Belinda, San Angelo, TX and Bobby Dale Simpson, Branson, MO; 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson; 2 brothers, Roger Simpson and wife, Pat, Carter, OK and Sam Simpson and wife, Becky, Heavener, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
