Celebration of Life for Tamie Simmons, 53 of Enid, will be 4:00 PM, Wednesday, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Chapel, with arrangements and cremation by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Tamie was born May 15, 1964 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Delvin Gene and Geraldine Irene (Sutton) Simmons, and passed away December 17, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Tamie graduated from Rose Hill Kansas High School and Oklahoma State University. She was a chemist with ITW/Magnaflux. She enjoyed working with horses, with her friends Tera and Michelle. She loved her nieces and nephews dearly. Tamie loved watching Mack play softball and working out with the trainer. She also enjoyed trail rides and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her father, Delvin Simmons.
Tamie is survived by her mother, Geraldine Simmons; brothers, Stacey Simmons, and Tony Lacey; sister, Debbie Simmons; nephews, Tyler Simmons, Gabe Addington, Trever Simmons, and Joey Addington; nieces, Mackinzie Simmons, Kaitlyn Hanson, Kaylie Addington, Annie Addington, and Shalae Simmons; great-nephews, Luka Simmons and Oliver Addington; great-niece, Zara Bay Simmons; special nephew Mitchell Maher; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Judes or Wounded Warriors.
