Terri Lynn (Simpkins) Simmons
Jan. 1, 1961 ~ Feb. 17, 2013

ENID - Service for Terri Lynn Simmons, 52, of Enid, was held Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Stittsworth Memory Chapel, with Brett Himes officiating.

Arrangements were under the kind guidance of Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Terri was born Jan. 1, 1961, in Cherokee, Okla., the daughter of Robert Wayne Simpkins and Wanda Lee Himes and passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, in Enid.

She was raised in Cherokee until the age of 9, when she moved with her family to Enid. Terri attended the Enid school system, worked as a CNA, CMA and dietary aide, recently at The Commons.

Terri was a big fan of OU and the OKC Thunder.

Survivors include her husband, David Simmons of the residence; daughters, Rebecca Lyne Oneth and husband Scott, Nicholle Lin Simmons and Jessica Lyn Stout and husband Anthony, all of Enid; parents, Robert Simpkins and wife Judy of Fulton, Texas, and Wanda Himes of Brussard, La.; brothers, David Himes and Mark Simpkins, both of Enid, and Brett Himes and wife Sherry of Enterprise, Ala.; three grandsons; and Terri�s in-laws, Gerald and Dorothy Simmons of Enid.

Terri was preceded in passing by her stepfather, Puss Himes.

The family has selected Terri's grandchildren's educational fund as appropriate for memorial donations instead of flowers.
