Mattie Mae Shutt, 88, of Edmond, OK passed away peacefully, Friday morning, May, 14, 2021 at Stone Creek Assisted Living in Edmond, OK.
She was born July 27, 1932 in Walters, OK to Floyd and Lorene Harris. She was married to Howard Shutt on May 10, 1974 in Altus, Oklahoma where they lived for 15 years before moving to Sherwin, KS. While living in Sherwin, KS they were active members of their local church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Howard Shutt. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Etheridge and husband Mike Etheridge of Edmond, OK. She was grandmother of two, Michelle McCarley and her husband Brandon, and Melissa Holliday and her husband Josh of Edmond, OK. She is also survived by one great grandson, Aiden Holliday.
A come-and-go visitation will be held throughout the day Monday, May 17, 2021 from 9:00AM-5:00PM at Crawford Family Funeral Home, for anybody wishing to pay their final respects. A graveside service to remember and celebrate Mattie's life will be held the following day, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Edgmand Cemetery in Columbus, KS at 2:00PM.
