Leslie Joseph Shull, age 36, of Hollis, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at his residence, in Hollis.

Leslie was born on December 9, 1974, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Raised by his grandparents, Leslie and Eva (Fause) Shull, he joined the United States Marines after graduating from Bartlesville High School and was stationed in California. After his discharge, Leslie returned to Bartlesville. On June 3, 2003, he married Wendie Montgomery and they moved to Hollis in May of 2009, where they attended Faith Baptist Church. Leslie was a wonderful husband and father who was a stay-at-home dad. A very outgoing person, Leslie loved to make people laugh and encouraged the kids to believe in themselves and do the best they could do in life. His hobbies included fishing, watching Nascar and taking care of his pets, but he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Wendie Nichole Shull and daughter Amber Nichole Shull, of the home; five children, Stephen A. Shull, Katelyn Renee Shull, Kristen Danielle Shull, Edean Christine Shull and Taylor Nicole Shull; his mother, Diana Wacker of Bartlesville; his father, Nicholas Shull, of Kentucky; two brothers, Donnie Shull of Texas and Nick Shull, Jr. of Oklahoma City; one sister, Eva Fisher of Bartlesville; two sister-in-laws and one brother-in-law, Raven and Mackay Saldivar-Sampier of Hollis and their children Mason and Auston and Robin Montgomery of Hollis and her daughter, Pandonia; mother-in-law Kathy Saldivar; Granny G, Deethyia Montgomery; two aunts, Dorothy Johnson and husband Marty and Patricia Johnson and family; five uncles, Jimmy Montgomery and wife Shirley, David Montgomery and wife Monica, Ricky Montgomery and wife Jill, Brett Montgomery and wife Tex of Elk City and Donnie Montgomery and wife Eva of Bartlesville; his best friend and fellow Marine brother, Greg Lindsey of Oklahoma City along with many cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Memorial services for Leslie Shull will be at 2 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2011, at Harmon County Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Argo officiating. Services are under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home of Hollis.
