Thomas "Tommy" Charles Shockley was born March 3, 1911 to Thomas Charles and Julia Ann Shockley at Delhi, Oklahoma.
He passed away November 20, 1980 in Denver, Colorado where he lived.
Funeral services were held November 26, 1980 at 1:30 p.m. at the Webster-Kale Funeral Home in Oceola, Iowa, with interment in the Murray Cemetery at Murray, Iowa.
Survivors are his wife, Evelyn of Texas; four sons, Charles M. of Burkburnett, Texas; James L. of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Donald E. of Fort Worth, Texas; and Thomas Charles of the home; three stepsons, Fred Carter, Willard Carter and Don Carter; three sisters, Lizzie Lane of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Bertha Hardy of Portales, New Mexico; and Myrtle Gillett of Oceola, Iowa.
Most people knew him as Tommy and he was a lover of many things but he was also a musician and music lover.
He had several grandchildren and a host of friends who are going to really miss him.
