Orville Anderson Shockey

February 9, 1913 ~ October 19, 1997

Orville Anderson Shockey was born February 9, 1913 to Louisa Martha Eaton and Charles Grover Shockey. He passed away October 19, 1997 in the hospital at Fayetteville, Arkansas.

He was married to Cleo Pauline Crowder. They had three children, Joanne Duncan, David Shockey and Ben Shockey; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

His hobbies were gardening, farming and animals.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline of the home; one daughter, Joanne Duncan of Elk City, Oklahoma; two sons, David Shockey of Healey, Alaska; and Ben Shockey of Gentry, Arkansas; one brother, Glen Shockey of Leedey; and one sister, Rozelle Montgomery of Elk City, Oklahoma; his grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and "Lizzie" Shockey; three brothers, John, Leon and Troy Shockey; and two sisters, Martha Bell Johnston and Lena Blackketter.

He was a loving husband and father, and a very special uncle.

Burial in Flint Creek cemetery, Gentry, Arkansas.
