A memorial service for Drumright resident, Chuck Shipman, will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 27th at the River of Life Christian Center with Rev. Kevin Vogele officiating. Charles Vance “Chuck” Shipman was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on June 6, 1971 to the late Charles Leroy Shipman & Dixie Ann (Parson) Shipman. He passed from this life in Dewey, Oklahoma on September 21, 2025 at the age of 54 years, 3 month, & 15 days.
Chuck was raised & educated in Drumright where he has lived all of his life. He had worked as a Certified Nurses Aide at the Drumright Nursing Home. He enjoyed Cooking, playing loud music, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife: Laverna Johnston.
His remaining family includes a Daughter: Faith Lee Shipman; Brother: Jamie Shipman & wife Cathy; Sister: Charlotte McNeal; many Nieces & Nephews, including: Toby – Tessa – Telia; PLUS several other family members & numerous friends.
