Jana Lynn Shipley, 52, went to her Heavenly Father on December 11, 2017, after a long illness. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at Eden Chapel, 9211 S. Fairgrounds Rd., Stillwater, OK, on Monday, December 18, at 2:00 p.m. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Jana was born on February 5, 1965, in Stillwater, OK, to Norman and Phyllis Shipley. She went through the Stillwater Public School system and graduated in 1983 from Stillwater High School. She had a 28 year career at the OSU Student Union which she loved. The Student Union was like family to her. Jana had a huge love for nature and all God's creatures. She was Mom to many dogs and made their lives so happy, safe and loved. She always had a way to brighten your day. She was one of God's angels and loved by so many family and friends.
Jana is survived by her parents of the home; sister, Connie Tatum; brother, Dale Shipley; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Tatum, Matt Tatum, Jamie Beasly, Zander Tatum, Isabella Tatum, Laken Shipley, Bobbie Quinn, Hazle Hoffimier, Franklyn Hoffimier, Lucy Quinn, Lane Shipley, Gabe Shipley; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins all of whom loved her. She was loved so much by everyone. She will live in our hearts always and be forever missed.
