James “Jim” Randal Sheridan, of Atoka, passed away at Alliance Health Durant on August 15, 2024, at the age of 62. He was born on September 24, 1961, in Springfield, Missouri, to James R. and Shirley (Nichols) Sheridan.
Jim began honing his craft of carpentry at the young age of 13 working for his father’s company, Trademasters in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When his father passed in 2002, Jim moved to the Caddo area creating Timbercraft Construction, specializing in one off cabinetry. He had a natural talent in mathematics, making him a better custom carpenter. Jim was known for being a dog lover, leading him to take in and care for stray dogs.
Jim loved his family, and is survived by his son Ryan Sheridan of Arizona, his daughter Kellie Sheridan and her fiancé Jacob Trevizo, also of Arizona, and his sisters, Cathy Shisler and husband Mark of Houston, Texas, and Melissa Sheridan of New Mexico. His legacy lives on with his grandchildren, Braxton, Bradlie, and the soon-to-arrive Bronx Trevizo.
Preceding Jim in death were his parents, James and Shirley Sheridan, and his sister Julie Sheridan.
Cremation services were selected, and no services are planned at this time.
Funeral services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, 121 North 5th Street, Durant, Oklahoma 74701. www.holmescoffeymurray.com
