Robert Shepard, a resident of Roberta, Oklahoma passed from this life at his home on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at the age of 84 years and 3 months. He was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma on December 31, 1932 to Robert “Aud” and Lovell Lucile (Criswell) Shepard. Robert married Neoma Coker in Pirtle, Oklahoma on June 6, 1952.
Robert was a member of the Roberta Baptist Church. He was a man who dedicated his life to caring for his farm and ranching. Robert enjoyed being outside camping and fishing. He always looked forward to spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Shepard is survived by his son, Robert (Bob) Shepard of Roberta, Oklahoma; daughter, Sherry Daniel and husband Dannie of Roberta, Oklahoma and Margie Cloud and husband Billy (Sr.) of Roberta, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Samantha Dellinger and husband John of Roberta, Oklahoma, Amy Beaird and husband Rob of Frisco, Texas, Andrew Daniel and wife Lydia of Roberta, Oklahoma, Billy Cloud, Jr. of Roberta, Oklahoma, April Hollingsworth and husband James of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Carlotte Jacobs of Natchitoches, Louisiana; 17 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; brother, Dwight Shepard and wife Leta of Antelope, California.
Mr. Shepard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Neoma Shepard; parents, Robert (Aud) Shepard and Lovell Shepard; and sister, Margie Nell Shepard.
Family hour will be from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Thursday March 9th at the Roberta Baptist Church in Roberta. A memorial service will be at 10:00 AM Friday March 10th at the Roberta Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Wingfield officiating. The honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Daniel, BJ Cloud, Jr., Jon Shepard, Mark Shepard, John Dellinger, Rob Beaird, Dannie Daniel and Billy Cloud. Sr.
