Darrell Lee Shelton was born August 24, 1958, in Canyon, Texas, to Eugene and Jane Shelton. He left this world on June 25, 2020, at the age of 61 years and 10 months. To his first marriage was born one son, Travis Shelton. He married Salome (Sally) Lopez Martin on February 14, 1987, and they had 33 wonderful years together.
Darrell was friendly to all and he loved fishing, camping, working in his yard, his pets, and spending time with his family, and especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sally, of the home; his mother, Jane Lopez of Hugoton, Kansas; his son, Travis Shelton and wife Jessica of Magnolia, Texas; three step-children: Vicki Logsdon and husband Dale (of Alva), Allen Martin and wife Grace (of Jay, Oklahoma), and Crystal Martin of Hardtner, Kansas; seven grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
Darrell requested to cremated with no services to be held. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at http://www.marshallfuneralhomes.com.
