Larry Byron Sharpe
April 13, 1923 ~ October 10, 2022

Lawrence (Larry) Byron Sharpe was born on April 13, 1923, in Clifton, Idaho, to Lawrence W. Sharpe and Dora (Taylor). He died on October 10, 2022, at the Kansas Veterans’ Home in Winfield, KS.

He attended Ponca City Schools and St. Mary’s Catholic School until the 10th grade, but dropped out to work on the farm with his family.

He joined the US Navy on November 16, 1942 and was honorably discharged on December 26, 1945.

Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
