Dr. Robert (Bob) Allen Shapiro, 84, of Norman, passed to his Heavenly Home on August 12, 2015, after a short period of declining health.
Bob was born August 14, 1930, Asbury Park-Long Branch, New Jersey to Louis and Katherine (Howard) Shapiro, both whom have proceeded him in death.
Bob married Stella Jane Darlow in Stillwater, Oklahoma, who has proceeded him in death. They had three handsome sons, David Allen Shapiro of Tulsa, OK, John Edward Shapiro of Santa Fe, NM, and Steven wife Ramona and Grandson Everett of Goldsby, OK. Bob and Nannette embarked on their great journey in 1993. Nannette has two beautiful daughters. Sandy Zorn husband Eric of Eads, TN and Shelley Vincent of Duncan, OK. Grandchildren Casie Zorn Hoeft and husband Dennis of Eads, TN, Andrew Zorn, David Zorn and wife Maria, and Shawn Zorn all of Memphis, TN, Travis and Hannah Velasco of Texas and Madison Vincent of Norman, OK. Great-Granddaughter Isabella Hoeft, of Eads, TN Bob has a sister Mary Lou Feidt of Ocean, NJ and his brother John (Bud) Shapiro, who has proceeded him in death. Bob has a sister-n-law Kathy Winslow and husband Davie of Tulsa. Bob also has numerous nieces and nephew along with great-nieces and great-nephews who all love him very much. Bob has many special friends from his Horse Trail Riding Days such as Ann Cole and husband Tony and Linda Ricard and husband Alan.
