Sue, as she was known by her family and friends, was born Sept. 17, 1938, at her family home in Martha, OK, to the late Addie Lee (Castles) and John C. Reed.  She grew up living on the farm and enjoying the simple joys in life with her brothers, Robert E. (Bob) and Ray.  She graduated from Martha High School in 1956.

Education and hard work was instilled in Sue from a young age and she used those as her foundation for life.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Business at Oklahoma State A&M University in Stillwater, OK, in 1960.  Sue taught at Guthrie High School where she met the love of her life, Clarence Jack Seymour.  Sue received her Master's Degree from OSU in 1963 and moved on to teach at Southwestern State College in Weatherford, OK from 1962-1965.

Jack and Sue married on August 8, 1965, in Martha, OK.  They were married for 29 years until Jack's death in 1995.  Together they enjoyed life's ups and downs relying heavily on faith, love and fun.  But they were most proud of their three children – Kelly, Steven and Cheryl.

In 1983, with a family of five, Sue endured and completed her Doctorate in Education.  This was a quite an accomplishment of which he family was very proud.  Sue's passion for teaching and helping others was evident in all she did.  Sue was a member of the Cache United Methodist Church and liked to serve others whenever she could...preferably with chocolate chip cookies in hand.

Sue is survived by three children, Kelly Norman and husband John, of Amarillo, TX; Steven Seymour and wife Donna, of Lawton, OK; and Cheryl Walker of Cache, OK.  Five grandchildren:  Kaylie & Jack Walker, Cache; Addison, Ashley & Alexis Norman, Amarillo, TX.  Her beloved older brother, Eugene E.
