Micha Rose Seward was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on May 29, 1943 passed from this earth on January 28, 2022. Born the oldest of 4 children to Floyd and Dorothy Cushing, she described herself as an Okie from Muskogee with Enid DNA.
After settling down near Keystone Lake with her only child, she became a real estate broker, house plan designer and became the first woman builder in Tulsa County. For 33 years in the real estate business that was started by her grandfather, she along with her partner-built 1000+ houses, 5 churches, 3 dental offices, a lawyer’s office, a fire station, a print shop and countless remodels. All while hauling her daughter to horse shows, raising Pony of Americas, goats, cats, and multiple dogs. She was also an advocate for the Tulsa SPCA and adopted senior and disabled dogs.
She wanted to say that she was especially grateful to have met so many nice people thru the years and watch new home dreams go from lines on a piece of paper to the actual house. She also enjoyed watching the youth show ponies and form life long bonds with the other families in the show circuit. After retiring she moved to Enid and got involved with the Yarn Over Enid project and crocheted many neat characters for display.
She is proceeded in death by her father, Floyd Cushing, mother, Dorothy Cushing, sister, Connie Cushing and brother Keith Cushing. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Nichols, husband Kyle, grandson Dalton Nichols and brother Jim Cushing and wife Debbie.
