Funeral services for Henry Severin, 92 of Enid, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2020, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kelly Russell officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Henry was born December 7, 1927, at Goltry, OK, to Albert and Bessie Fuxa Severin, and passed away Friday, March 6, 2020, in Enid. He grew up on a farm southeast of Enid and graduated from Pioneer High School. He married Cecilia Patak on April 14, 1956, at Perry, OK, and they made their home in Fairmont where he farmed, and later moved to his parents homeplace. In 1968, they moved to a farm in the Garber area. Henry enjoyed gardening, bee keeping and fishing. He was a farmer for 50 years.
In addition to his wife Cecilia, Henry is survived by his children; Vickie Murphy and husband Ed of Enid, Gloria Goins and husband Randy of Enid, Victor Severin and wife Karla of Ramona, OK, Stephanie Zimbleman of Enid, Florien Severin and wife Linda of Garber, and Les Severin and wife Cindy of Katy, TX, thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Henrietta Novy.
