Achille, OK- Gaylard Neil Sellers, 79, passed away peacefully in Achille on Sunday, May 12th, 2024. Gaylard was born May 2nd, 1945 in Durant, Oklahoma to Jack Sellers and Leora Juanita (Harrison) Sellers.
Gaylard was raised and lived in Bryan County his entire life. He was a self-employed entrepreneur and was always involved in fun and interesting projects. Gaylard enjoyed watching all sports, history, and raising chickens. He especially loved spending time with family and friends sharing lots of love and laughter. Gaylard was of the Non-denominational faith.
He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Short and husband, David, of Calera, Kelli Bruce of Achille, and Kimberly Rodriguez of Roatan, Honduras; 6 grandchildren Dustin Childers, Tyler Childers, Joshua Childers, Seth Cater, Cassidy Turner, and Maddison Turner.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 15th, from 5-7 PM at Brown’s Funeral Home in Durant.
A private graveside will be held at a later date.
