The Funeral Services for Helen Geraldine "Gerri" Seckman, 74, Enid, will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Tony Crispo officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Geraldine was born December 6, 1936 in Lakin, Kansas to Ransom E. and Katherine Weber McBee and died on June 23, 2011 at Integris Bass. Geraldine was raised and attended school in Lakin, Kansas before moving to Wichita, Kansas. She married Jack Seckman on November 6, 1953 in St. Mary's Cathedral in Wichita. They made their home in Derby before moving to Arkansas City, KS in 1963 They moved to Enid in 1965 where she worked as a nurses aide before running her husband's shop, G & J Appliances in 1977.
She is survived by her husband, Jack; sons: Dennis & wife Brenda of Missouri and Mike & wife Jennifer of Wichita; Four grandchildren: Robert, Zach, Justin and Amanda; five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home as custodians of the funds.
