Lois Kathleen Kennedy Sadler Sears, 96, of Guthrie, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Guthrie. Kathleen was born to Opal Mae and Lloyd Ray Kennedy on July 11, 1923 in Luther, Oklahoma.

She was married for 35 years to Bennie Ferial Sadler, and together they had one beloved child, Larry Joe Sadler. Kathleen and Bennie owned Sadler’s Cleaners in Guthrie. A long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Guthrie, Kathleen served as a children’s Sunday school teacher for 34 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Gerald, sister Millie, and her second husband Melvin Sears

Kathleen is survived by her son Larry and daughter-in-law Judy Sadler; her grandchildren Michael Sadler, Melissa Sadler, Kelly Gleason and her husband, Joe; and her great-grandchildren Zach and Macy Gleason.

A memorial service will be held in her memory at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Smith Memorial Chapel. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 6525 North Meridian Avenue, Suite 110, Oklahoma City, OK 73116.
