No services are planned for Cloyd Ervan Seachris, 69, of Cherokee. He was cremated at his request. Arrangements are by Goodwin Funeral Home.
He was born March 25, 1936, at Waynoka to John Erven and Effie Leora Bolar Seachris and died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He served in the Navy from 1953 to 1957. He was a longshoreman and lived in Rainier, Ore.
He married LaDonna Long June 10, 1959, in Reno, Nev. They traveled, living in several locations. They moved back to Waynoka in 1981, and then to Cherokee in 2001.
Surviving are his wife, LaDonna of the home; two daughters, Dee Armstrong of Blackwell and Connie Roberts of Cherokee; one son, Alan Seachris of Cody, Wyo.; one sister Erma Gamble of Wichita, Kan.; and three grandsons.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to his grandsons’ educational fund.

He was a rock hound, hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Dee Armstrong of Blackwell, OK. and Connie Roberts of Cherokee, OK.; a son, Alan of Cody, Wyo.; a sister, Erma Gable of Wichita, KS., and three grandsons.
Memorials may be made to his grandsons' educational fund.
