Gerald Scrapper was born May 16, 1957, in Cherokee County, Oklahoma and departed this life on September 23, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years, 4 months, and 7 days. Gerald was the son of the late Carl Scrapper.
If you ask a hundred people who was Gerald Scrapper, they’d each tell you a different story. A fisherman, a teacher, a music lover and singer of his own bedroom concerts, coach, a cheerleader, a loving family man, a great ball player, sports lover, and they’d even tell you some stories of him just being goofy. He was all those things and more. Most of all he was an amazing Husband, Father, and Papa to his family. He enjoyed spending all his time with his family just sitting outside and being together.
Gerald is survived by his loving family that include his wife: Kathy Soap Scrapper; along with five children: Samantha Johnson and husband Trey of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Helen Jackson and husband Jay of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Susan Scrapper and husband Richard, Russell Scrapper and wife Felicia, Julie Beaver and husband Rainwater all of Stilwell, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren: Lane Johnson, Randon Scrapper, Levi Scrapper, Alaina Mccullough, Allie Jackson, Layson Welch, Takalynn Scrapper, Laniston Welch, Talon Scrapper, Halona Beaver, Laiah Scrapper, Amiyah Beaver, Lyssa Hurlburt, Chenoa Beaver; 1 great grandchild: Lucas Johnson; brothers, a very special partner in crime: Jed Scrapper and wife Margaret of Sallisaw Oklahoma, Earl Scrapper, Larry Scrapper and wife Jonanna both of Tahlequah Oklahoma, Jon Scrapper and wife Lisa, Matt Scrapper and wife Angela both of Pryor Oklahoma; a very special uncle: Tom and Evette Sanders; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
