Roger Lynn "Country" Scott
July 24, 1956 ~ November 14, 2016

Roger Lynn Scott aka "Country" was born on July 24th, 1956 in Oklahoma City to Joseph Edward and Lula Mae Scott. He was raised in the Oklahoma City area and graduated in 1974 from Western Heights High School.

Roger spent most of his adult life in and around the Ada area before moving to Bridgecreek, OK. He later returned to Ada where he lived at the time of his death. Roger worked throughout his life primarily as a concrete finisher and backhoe operator. He always enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family. He had an avid love for training dogs and working with horses.

Survived by: One sister, JoAnn Scott- Sutton and husband Dennis, of Ada; two sons, Shane Lynn Scott (41) of Noble; and James "Eric" Scott (37) of Newcastle; one daughter, Amanda Rachelle Hancock (33) of Bridgecreek. Roger has six grandchildren: Jadyn Emery Scott (17), John Jeremiah Hancock (16), Morgan Jay Scott (14), Eva Rose Van Voris (10), Jacob Lewis Jones (10), and Joseph Edward Jones (8).

Roger was preceded in death by his Parents; and wife, Barbara Ann Scott.
