Preston Junior Scott, an Ada resident, was born on August 12, 1943, to Jasper J. Scott and Virta Elma (Billy) Fobb, at Talihina, Oklahoma. He passed away on March 14, 2025, at Atoka, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 2 days.
Preston was an automobile mechanic, worked in construction and was just a jack of all trades.
He served in the United States Army.
Preston was a Holy Man, Sundancer and Pipe Carrier for 45 years. He was a fluent Choctaw speaker and loved his language and culture. Preston liked to tinker with stuff to see if he could figure it out. He was a big John Elway and Denver Bronco’s fan. Preston loved to love people and serving them was his passion. He loved his grandkids and great grandkids. Preston will be dearly missed but his legacy lives on.
