Dorothy Jane (Mouser) Schuppert, 70, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017. She was an employee at Amazon in Jeffersonville. Dorothy loved her grandchildren and could be described as a savvy shopper. She enjoyed "couponing" and was always up for chasing the deal.
She was born on August 5, 1947 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to the late Cecil and Ruth (McEwin) Mouser. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn Brannon and grandson, Paul Ray Young.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of over 22 years, James Schuppert, Jr.; daughters, Christina Perry (Mary Helen), Samantha Whatley (Hal); step-children, Jon Schuppert, Kara Hardin; brother, Cecil Mouser (Diane); aunt, Kathleen "Jimmie" Hawkins; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 3 PM to 8 PM Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 10 AM. Her Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
