The funeral service for Herman Schulz Jr. is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Henninger~Hinson Chapel with Pastor Dan Barrick and Pastor Tommy Donaldson officiating.
Visitation with family is 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at the funeral home.
Junior was born June 16, 1935, in Bison, OK, to Herman and Anna (McLaren) Schulz, and passed away June 16, 2018, celebrating his 83rd birthday.
Junior spent his life farming, working for the county, driving a school bus, and owning his own business, the Jr. Schulz Construction Company.
In 1955, he married Anna Marie Maly and the couple made their home in the Bison area. After Anna Marie's passing, he married Gayle Stephens.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold; sister, Juanita; niece, Patricia; and great-granddaughter, Kayman.
Junior is survived by his wife, Gayle; daughters, Jo Elaine Pennick (Bob), Jaylene Scott (Mike), Jeanette McDonald (Mark); grandchildren, Sheri and Scott Chaney, Jason and Amy Pennick, Brandon and Tabatha Scott, Stacie and Charlie Myrick, Evan and Daryl Reininger, Tyler and Sara Scott, Rikki and Justin Guinn, and Ryan McDonald; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dolores Weber and Shirley West; brothers, Charles and Johnny Schulz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Valir Hospice with the funeral home acting as custodian of the fund.
