Gloria June Schryver
November 04, 1949 ~ May 21, 2019

Gloria June Schryver (Fleener), age 69, passed away unexpectedly due to heart and health related conditions on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 2:50 am surrounded by family while at her private residency in Bethany, OK.

She was born November 4, 1949 in Bigfork, Minnnesota to Alva Fleener and Barbara J. Tohill (Miller). Gloria was the oldest of four children: Jerry, Roberta, Roxanne, and Al.

On September 27, 1967, Gloria was married to E. Joseph Schryver, Jr.

Gloria was active in her church parish Epiphany of the Lord, where she enjoyed taking part in sewing buddies, Women’s Club, and many more. In 2014, Gloria was given the Women of Achievement Award. She retired from Office Management in pursuit of a higher education. In 2017, Gloria received her Associate Degree in Diversified Studies from Oklahoma City Community College. She was an inspiration to all. Gloria pursuing a degree encouraged her youngest to also reach for higher education. She will be remembered as kind hearted, warm smile, and enjoyed making handmade crafts.

Gloria was preceded in death by Thomas Schryver; her parents; friends and family.

She is survived by her loving husband E. Joseph Schryver, Jr.; 3 children, Terri, Bryan, and Mary; her grandchildren Jennifer, Cameron, Zoe and Colette; great-grandchildren, and additional family members.

A memorial service will be held at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church 11:00 am, Friday, May 24, 2019 with services led by Priest Stephen Bird and Deacon Richard Fahy.

In lieu of flowers the family asks to please consider donating to Research for Leukemia Cancer or American Heart Association.
